Liaoning beat Beijing for six-game CBA winning streak
BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- As four players scoring double digits, Liaoning beat Beijing 104-97 for its six-game winning streak in the 12th round action of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.
Facing Beijing, Liaoning got 10 points lead after first quarter, thus tying the game all the way to the end. Lester Hudson of Liaoning made a team-high 29 points and 8 rebounds, while Bass contributed 27 points and 10 rebounds. Although Aaron Jackson got a game-high 35 points., Beijing was still unable to cut the deficit.
Zhejiang's fast breaks destroyed Shanghai's line of defense. The home team tried hard to keep the overturning hope alive by narrowing the difference to 3 points in the last quarter but Zhejiang had the last laugh with 102-97.
Sonny Weems made 44 points and 13 rebounds for Zhejiang, while Fredette of Shanghai had 41 points and 11 rebounds.
In other actions of the day, Guangsha defeated Jiangsu 111-95, Fujian upset Jilin 130-112.
