The Nanxuan Academy was founded in 1524 and rebuilt in 2017. Relying on the tombs of Zhang Jun and Zhang Shi, founders of neo-Confucianism of the Huxiang School, the academy adopts traditional building structures with rich cultural atmosphere. At present, the academy has become an attraction for Huxiang culture inheritance and study tours.
