Lakers stave off late Memphis Grizzlies comeback to secure a win
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Lakers earned their third victory in four games, 107-102 over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.
Brook Lopez scored 21 points, including four three-pointers, Brandon Ingram added 20, 18 of them in the first half. Kyle Kuzma finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds while Caldwell-Pope, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson also reached double figures.
The young, rebuilding Los Angeles Lakers built a 22-point lead on a good Grizzlies team that was playing an L.A. back-to-back.
Memphis trimmed the Lakers' lead to 103-100 with 42 seconds left. It was as close as they'd get.
The game ended with Conley grimacing as he failed to get one final three-pointer off before the buzzer.
