Klay Thompson leads Warriors to 112-92 win over Spurs
WASHINGTON, Nov.3 (Xinhua) -- Klay Thompson scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 24 points as the Golden State Warriors had a 112-92 blowout of the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, giving Spurs their fourth straight loss.
Warriors overcame a lethargic first quarter and battled back from a 19-point deficit, seizing the control in the third quarter.
Thompson hit 5 of his 8 three-point attempts, and added two assists and three rebounds, saving the Warriors from the trouble in the first half. Stephen Curry added 21 points for the Warriors while Draymond Green added 16 points and 7 assists.
This was the first meeting of Warriors and Spurs this season, and Warriors gave the injury-riddled Spurs their fourth straight loss. Aldridge of Spurs scored 24 points and Andersson added 16 points.
