James says he would love to have Wade join him on Cavaliers
WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Superstar LeBron James said that he would love to have Dwyane Wade join him on the Cleveland Cavaliers at the team's media day session on Monday.
Wade, 35, reached a buyout agreement with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday and became a free agent.
James and Wade previously played together for four seasons with the Miami Heat, winning two championships and reaching four NBA Finals.
James admitted that he has spoken to Wade, and plans to do it again.
The Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and his former team Heat could all aim for Wade. The Cavaliers are believed to be the frontrunners.
Wade, who grew up in Chicago, averaged 18.3 points and 3.8 assists in 60 games for the Bulls last season.
