Bulls to sign Nikola Mirotic: sources
WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- It is reported that the Chicago Bulls and forward Nikola Mirotic have agreed to a two-year, 26-million-U.S.-dollar contract.
The second year of the contract is an option. The Bulls started to rebuild after losing in the first round of the playoffs last season. They traded All-Star guard Jimmy Butler to Minnesota for three players -- Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the rights to No. 7 overall pick Lauri Markkanen.
The 6-foot-10 Mirotic averaged 10.6 points and 5.5 rebounds last season. He has scored 10.8 per game over three seasons.
