Kobe: The biggest opponent is myself
HAIKOU, China, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Basketball icon Kobe Bryant interacted with 30 teenage basketball players on Tuesday in Haikou, the capital city of south China's Hainan Province.
The five-time NBA champion and 18-time NBA All-Star guided the teenagers in dribbling, confrontation and shooting within almost one hour. Kobe was strict with the young players and asked them repeat the moves if they did in a wrong way.
When answering questions by the teenagers, Kobe said his favorite teammate was Paul Gasol and his biggest opponent was himself.
He noted that he met many strong opponents like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Michael Jordan, but in his eyes the biggest opponent was the one whom he faced in the mirror everyday. He would remind himself of insisting on training and never slacken his effort.
Kobe also visited the Mission Hills Movie Theater and received a warm welcome there.
