Rockets cruise past Thunder 137-125
WASHINGTON, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Lou Williams scored 31 points off the bench as the Houston Rockets never looked back in a 137-125 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Houston won its fourth straight game overall and has won nine of their past 12 games against the Thunder. "They got hot and especially with a team like that, they get hot and it can be trouble," Russell Westbrook said.
James Harden finished with 22 points and 12 assists. Williams made 11 of 15 shots and tied a career-high by making 7 of 8 3-pointers. Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon added 24 points apiece for the Rockets, who enjoyed a 25-point lead during three quarters. But Houston's lead was cut to eight on a 3-pointer by Westbrook with about 90 seconds left. The Rockets scored 4 quick points after that to seal the victory.
Westbrook had 39 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds for his second straight triple-double and 36th of the season. Enes Kanter added 23 points off the bench and Victor Oladipo had 15 points.
