Sha Ren Gao (amomi fructus pastry)
As early as the Qing Dynasty, Ningxiang's "Sha ren gao" (amomi fructus pastry) has been known as one of the four famous pastries in Hunan for its crisp and sweet taste. Its main ingredient is high quality indica rice, which is stir-fried and ground into powder, then mixed with white granulated sugar, water, tea oil, and amomi fructus powder, and finally baked in the oven.

The process for making the pastry is as follows:
1. Selecting the rice

2. Cleaning the rice

3. Grinding the rice

4. Adding ingredients

5. Pouring the mixture into a mould

6. Cutting the mixture into pieces

7. Baking

8. Finished products
