Jiuxian Lake Scenic Area

Located in Youxian County, Zhuzhou City, Jiuxian Lake is a core scenic spot of Jiubujiang Tourist Area. The scenic area enjoys a favorable geographical location and convenient transportation, only a 2-hour drive away from the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster. Jiuxian Lake is a demonstration zone for rural revitalization in border areas of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces and a primary site along the Grand Eastern Hunan Cultural Tourism Belt.
The scenic area integrates sightseeing, folk custom experience, sports and leisure, health care, and study tours. Based on its 19-km footpath around the lake, six functional zones have been developed or planned, namely, folk custom experience, camping, sports, wetlands, lakeside leisure (planned), and health care. The scenic area is committed to building itself into a national and provincial famous destination for leisure tourism.
