Macao passport holders granted visa-on-arrival entry to Iran, Guinea-Bissau
MACAO, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Passports holders of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will be granted visa-on-arrival entry to Iran and Guinea-Bissau, the authorities said in a press release on Monday.
The Identification Services Bureau of Macao SAR confirmed that holders of the Macao SAR passports visiting Iran with tourist purpose can obtain a visa upon arrival at Gheshm Island, Kish Island, Mashhad, Esfahan, Shiraz International Airport, Tabriz and Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport for a maximum stay of 30 days.
Holders of the Macao SAR passports visiting Guinea-Bissau can obtain a visa upon arrival at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport for a maximum stay of 90 days.
Besides, holders of the Macao SAR travel permit visiting Palau can obtain a visa upon arrival for a stay of 30 days, and can be extended to a maximum of 90 days.
A total of 132 countries and regions have agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to Macao SAR passport holders, while 14 countries or regions have agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to Macao SAR travel permit holders.
