HK Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2017 takes fear to whole new le
HONG KONG, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong Ocean park announced on Tuesday that it will take the largest ever Halloween Fest to tourists from Oct. 5 to 31.
This year's Halloween Fest aims to take the bloodcurdling screams up several notches with 11 haunted attractions and 12 experiences.
Hong Kong Ocean Park hold a press conference to introduce the highlights of Halloween Fest 2017. Vivian Lee, executive director of business development and education of the Park, said "as we celebrate Hong Kong Ocean Park's 40th anniversary, this year's Halloween Fest is our largest ever, offering a unique style of thrills and chills never seen before".
According to Lee, the headlining of the event will be the movie-themed attraction where SAW, one of the most famous horror films in the world, will come to life at Ocean Park for the first time ever.
Guests can immerse themselves in terrifying experiences recreated from the films of the blockbuster horror franchise.
Eva Au Yeung, event and entertainment director of Ocean Park, said that Halloween Fest 2017 had four attractions, namely Scary Attractions, Phobia Experience, Transforming Attraction and Family-friendly Spooky Attraction.
Lee estimated that there will be about 1 million guests coming to Halloween Fest 2017, the same number as the last year.
